Meet Cindy St. Cyr
The Heart Behind the Methodology

For more than four decades, I've had the privilege of using music to bring people together.
What began as a career as a professional vocalist and music educator gradually evolved into something much deeper. As the founder and director of the Houston Music & Wellness Center, I have worked with schools, healthcare organizations, senior living communities, corporations, and community groups. Through these experiences, I have witnessed something remarkable: music has the power to break down barriers, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful human connection in ways that words alone often cannot.
Again and again, I saw individuals who began as strangers leave feeling connected. I watched hesitant participants become engaged and inspired leaders. I witnessed teams discover new ways to communicate, support one another, and celebrate each person's unique contribution.
Those experiences inspired me to ask a simple question:
What if rhythm could become more than an activity? What if it could become a methodology for helping people grow together?
That question became the foundation for the Becoming an Orchestra of Sound™ Methodology.
Today, every Team Synchronization Experience™ is intentionally designed to help participants DISCOVER their individual strengths, BECOME more connected as a team, LEAD with confidence and purpose, and GROW together through meaningful shared experiences.
By combining music, rhythm, experiential learning, and evidence-informed practices, I create engaging experiences that strengthen communication, deepen relationships, inspire collaboration, and foster both personal and professional growth.
For me, this work has never been about teaching people to play drums.
It's about helping people discover how listening, encouragement, trust, collaboration, and shared leadership can transform the way they work together.
Music simply becomes the vehicle.
People are always the purpose.
