CinCyr School of Voice & Music Cindy St. Cyr 713-464-SING (7464) Houston, Texas
Now Offering Classes in Sight Singing & Ear Training
Cindy knows first hand the importance of learning sight singing and ear training as a vocalist.
This skill is important for the singer in many venues, whether singing jingles, singing in a choir, or singing with a band. Knowing how to sight sing will free you up as a singer.
We've all heard Julie Andrews teaching the children how to sing the solfege syllables in the song "Do, Re, Mi" in the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical The Sound of Music.
Learning to sight sing is a challenging process, yet Cindy will take you step by step, in a fun and enjoyable way using exercises and songs to get you on the road to success.
Cindy uses the sight singing curriculum called Sing at First Sight - Foundations in Choral Sight-Singing by Andy Beck, Karen Farnum Surmani, and Brian Lewis. This curriculum is perfect whether you are learning to sight-sing in a group setting or by taking private lessons with Cindy.
